Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political advisor who served as the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 until 2022. As a member of the Democratic Party, she was previously the White House deputy presses secretary (2009-2011); White House deputy director of communications (2009-2011); White House deputy director(2009-2011) and spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013)-2015; and White House communications director (2015)-2017. Psaki was an election contributor to CNN between 2017 and 2020. Psaki started her career in 2001 when she worked on the re-election campaigns for Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki then served as press secretary in John Kerry's 2004 presidential election campaign. Psaki was also the communications director for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) as well as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was back in the political arena in 2012 as the press secretary for President Obama’s 2012 campaign. 20 years ago, Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11 2013. The speculations that she would be replacing Jay Carney White House Press secretary once he left for White House in the year 21 were fuelled by her hire at the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as the replacement of Carney on May 30 in 2014. She returned to White House as Communications Director in 2015 and stayed until the end of.
